André MIORIN
Sculpture
André Miorin has been practicing sculpture since a young age. He took drawing and modeling classes at the Avignon School of Fine Arts.
He first sculpted wood then marble, he did internships in Carlo Nicoli's workshop in Carrara where the greatest had their works created, César, Louise Bourgeois Adami etc.
He then learned the technique of wrought iron in the ancient Barsi ironworks in Camaïore near Carrara.
Mastery of techniques to offer a finished work where minerals, plants, animals and humans combine.
Free figures, neither too close nor too far from nature with just enough love for them to have a soul. Lives and works in Provence.
