Julie Gonce lives with glass. She practices this craft, rich in history, with deep respect for the traditions and know-how passed down to her. At the heart of all her creations is the pleasure of working with flame and molten glass.

She constructs her sculptures by assembling a multitude of blown or flame-worked glass elements. The artist enjoys playing with accumulation. When combined with wood, earth, metal, or other materials, the glass reveals a hidden dimension and expresses the emotion of her universe.
